The Grey Legacy

Well, this is another prime example of the game throwing you suprises.

I hadn’t really planned on doing an update so soon, but I started playing last night, and some interesting twists took place. I started Kaylee on her career in the Music path (thought that would be fitting – her lifetime wish to perfect her Guitar and Painting skills, so I figured I might as well get paid for it.) And I moved Aldo in, as well. (Turns out his LTW is to be a Master Gardener – who knew?)

I was planning on having Katrin sort of reconnect with Leighton, she kept getting wishes to see him and I figured I might as well give it a shot and see where it went. But then she had to work one night, and I figured I’d get them together the next day. Only it turned out he had died…

I had the funeral at the Grey residence (I don’t know if I’ve got a glitch or what – but I can only throw birthday parties and funerals at my house; or at least it only lets me have Destination Parties anywhere that I tried to have them.) And I could have sworn I took more screenshots than I ended up with, but I guess not… So I sort of had to make due with what I had.

Anyway, poor Kat. She’s getting on in years (her age bar is pretty much filled so it’s really just a matter of time, I think. It just didn’t work out for her to find true love, I guess. (Another example of things working out completely different than I had thought hey would.) I don’t think she had a bad life, though, so far. And she’s still got some fire left in her engine, so to speak – so who knows?

Oh, and about the title for this entry – just say it out loud a couple times fast and hopefully it’ll start to make sense…
